The trailer also confirms the return of the Annihilation Battle mode, where players must destroy enemy facilities like oil tanks and air bases while managing weapon supply lines. Producer Manabu Shimomoto explains that this mode embodies the series' core pillar of
allowing players to eliminate enemies based on their own judgment. The new trailer also introduces formidable foes, including the Megafloat Fatsia, a massive artificial island off the coast of Sotoa that serves as an arms factory and uses cold fusion technology. Additionally, the Sotoan military possesses the Attack Satellite Tonitrus Spear, a kinetic weapon capable of striking targets from orbit.
