THE CRUNCH

Acemagic has unveiled a compact mini-workstation at IFA 2026 that features AMD's top-tier Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 APU, dubbed 'Gorgon Halo'. The system fits into a two-liter chassis and includes a 16-core Zen 5 CPU, Radeon 8060S integrated graphics, and an NPU capable of 55 TOPS, bringing the total system performance to approximately 131 TOPS.

The machine is housed in a chassis measuring 158.5 x 158.5 x 81.5 mm, making it a very small package for a system that supports up to 192 GB of LPDDR5X memory running at 8,533 MT/s. This high-speed memory is positioned to handle local processing of large language models, gaming, or creative workloads. Storage is provided by a single M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe slot that can accommodate SSDs up to 4 TB.

Connectivity options are plentiful for a device of this size. The workstation features two USB4 ports, dual 2.5 GbE Ethernet ports, the latest Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4. Display outputs include HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 2.1. An OCuLink interface with PCIe 4.0 x4 lanes is also included, offering a potential expansion path for users who need more GPU power or an external PCIe connection.
