THE CRUNCH
ASRock has entered the monitor market with three new 27-inch displays under its Taichi brand. The lineup includes a flagship model, the TCO27USA, which features a 4K UHD Penta Tandem QD-OLED panel with a 240 Hz refresh rate and a 0.03 ms response time. The monitor also supports DisplayHDR True Black 400, 99% DCI-P3 colour accuracy, and includes a built-in KVM switch.
The TCO27USA is the first model in the series and is designed as a premium display for enthusiasts. It comes equipped with two HDMI 2.1 ports, two DisplayPort 2.1 with UHBR20, and a single USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C for power delivery and connectivity. ASRock has also included proprietary low blue light technology to reduce eye strain.
The Taichi branding suggests this monitor is aimed at high-end PC builders looking for a premium aesthetic and feature set. The inclusion of a KVM switch and high-spec ports like DisplayPort 2.1 with UHBR20 indicates a focus on professional and enthusiast use cases.
