THE CRUNCH

NVIDIA is hosting AI Day Singapore to showcase how its AI infrastructure and tools are being adopted across Southeast Asia. The event highlights how partners in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and Brunei are using NVIDIA Nemotron open models and NeMo tools to build region-specific applications for government services, healthcare and smart cities. NVIDIA is also working with agencies like Singapore’s HTX to use

NVIDIA Nemotron 3 Super and Nano Omni models for public safety, and with NCS to advance agentic AI and humanoid robotics. In Thailand, iApp Technology is fine-tuning Nemotron 3 Nano for legal applications, while in Vietnam, Viettel AI is fine-tuning the Super model for Vietnamese-language tasks. Malaysia’s ITMAX is using NVIDIA Cosmos open world models to improve city traffic operations.

The announcements emphasise moving AI from pilots to production-scale deployment. NVIDIA is helping governments and enterprises build trusted, locally controlled AI capabilities that reflect local languages and cultures. Partners are using NVIDIA’s open models and datasets to create applications ranging from drug discovery to legal assistants.

Beyond Singapore, NVIDIA is supporting regional ecosystems through initiatives like the Open Models AI Codefest co-hosted by Bitdeer AI. This effort provides GPU cloud infrastructure for developers to build localised applications across critical sectors, including healthcare.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

NVIDIA will continue to support the Open Secure AI Alliance and expand the use of its Cosmos and VSS Blueprints for smart city solutions.
