Beelink has updated its ME Pro NAS with Intel's Core Ultra X7 358H processor, a 16-core chip that includes an Arc B390 iGPU. This upgrade allows the NAS to function as a network-attached render machine or AI accelerator for private cloud applications. The device will also be available with a less powerful Core Ultra 5 325H option. The Chinese version will ship with Feinui fnOS for file management and Tencent's Marvis
The new Intel Core Ultra X7 358H is a 16-core processor that includes an Arc B390 integrated graphics unit. This combination enables the NAS to handle graphics-intensive workloads like rendering and AI acceleration. Beelink previously offered the ME Pro NAS in two- and four-bay configurations. The Chinese version of the updated NAS will ship with Feinui fnOS for file backups and remote access. It will also include built-in AI video management and organisation capabilities, as well as Tencent's Marvis for file search and archiving. It is currently unclear if these AI features will be included in international markets when the NAS launches in October.
The Intel Core Ultra X7 358H is a high-end processor designed for performance. The inclusion of the Arc B390 iGPU is a significant upgrade for a NAS, allowing it to perform tasks typically reserved for dedicated graphics cards. The Beelink ME Pro NAS is positioned as a versatile device that can handle both file storage and compute-intensive tasks. The availability of a less powerful Core Ultra 5 325H option provides a more affordable alternative for users who do not need the full power of the X7 358H.
