THE CRUNCH
Remedy Entertainment’s CONTROL Resonant has launched on GeForce NOW, letting players stream the warped Manhattan adventure without a local install. Ultimate members can access the title with RTX 5080-class performance, including DLSS 4 and ray tracing, while a membership bundle offers the game for free until Sunday, Sept. 27.
GeForce NOW is adding a new cloud gaming option for Control Resonant, which follows Dylan Faden as he battles the Hiss in a warped Manhattan. The service promises RTX 5080-class performance and up to 5K HDR streaming for Ultimate members, aiming to let players jump straight into the action without a 100GB local download.
The launch coincides with the end of the CONTROL Resonant Ultimate Membership Bundle, which offers the game at no extra cost for a 12-month Ultimate subscription purchased by Sunday, Sept. 27. This limited-time offer is the only way to secure the title bundled with the membership.
GeForce NOW is also preparing to support Googlebooks, a new category of laptops blending ChromeOS and Android, later this year. This expansion aims to bring cloud gaming to the new device category, allowing users to stream titles without local installs on the premium laptops.
The update also adds DragonSword: Awakening and several other titles to the cloud library, including Dune: Awakening and Stick It to the Stickman. Availability for new releases may vary as games are onboarded after their store launches, so users should check GeForce NOW channels for updates.
