Rhythm Heaven Groove has returned to the top of the Japanese software sales charts, shifting 24,756 physical copies in its second week. The rhythm sequel from Nintendo is followed by Capcom’s Onimusha: Way of the Sword on PlayStation 5, which sold 19,654 units. On the hardware front, the Switch 2 sold 28,341 units, narrowly beating the PlayStation 5 family, which moved 7,494 units. The Xbox Series family sold just 15
units, while the older Switch family sold 7,559 units.
The top ten also includes Splatoon Raiders on Switch 2, which has now sold over 650,000 units since launch. Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream re-entered the charts at number four, while Minecraft and Mario Kart World maintained their positions in the top ten. The data comes from Famitsu’s weekly estimates for Japan.
