THE CRUNCH
Forza Horizon 6 will launch for PlayStation 5 on January 26, 2027, arriving alongside the game's first expansion and a free update, Xbox Game Studios and developer Playground Games have announced. The PlayStation version will be available both physically and digitally, and anyone who pre-orders the Premium Edition gets early access from January 21. The game first launched for Xbox Series and PC in May and is also on Game Pass.
The date confirms what reports had suggested: the PS5 version had been expected this year, but it has now slipped to January 2027.
Set in Japan, the game features over 550 real-world cars, Tokyo City as the largest urban area in a Forza Horizon game to date, and a campaign that runs from tourist to Horizon Legend, with Legend Island reserved for the top drivers.
