THE CRUNCH

Framework is lowering RAM prices for some buyers of the Laptop 13 Pro and offering refunds after securing cheaper Micron modules.

The modular PC maker says it has secured a limited quantity of Micron 32GB and 64GB LPCAMM2 memory modules at a lower cost. This price reduction applies to some customers, with Framework offering refunds for the price difference.

The move comes after Framework increased laptop memory pricing in July. The company describes the current situation as a 'rare, positive update' amid ongoing component shortages.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

Framework will process refunds for eligible customers and lower RAM prices for new purchases.
