THE CRUNCH

G-Wolves has officially announced the Lupine II, an ultra-light gaming mouse designed for a fingertip grip. The device weighs just 22.7 grams and measures 65.38 by 30.27 by 59.95 mm. Pre-orders begin on September 18, with prices starting at $109 for early birds.

The Lupine II is the successor to the Fenrir, a mouse that helped popularise the ultra-light fingertip form factor. The new device is a right-handed, asymmetrical shape that appears to be a revision of the Fenrir Asym. It will be available in black and gray colourways.

The mouse is powered by a PixArt PAW 3955 sensor and a Nordic 54L sensor. These components are paired with a lightweight chassis to achieve the 22.7g weight. This places it firmly in the ultra-light category, well below the weight of many full-sized mice.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

The mouse will be available in black and gray colourways, with subsequent pre-order rounds priced at $134 and $159.
