Com2uS has announced that GACHIAKUTA: BREAKOUT, formerly known as GACHIAKUTA: The Game, will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC via Steam in 2027. The survival action RPG fully recreates the world of the hit Japanese anime IP GACHIAKUTA in full 3D cel-shaded graphics. Players control Rudo, a boy from the slums who awakens the ability to draw out the soul of discarded objects to manifest them as weapons. The
game features real-time combat, base-building for the Cleaners Headquarters and real-time co-op play. The title follows Rudo as he faces discrimination and is cast into the Pit, where he uncovers the truth behind the world.
Com2uS describes the experience as a mix of the anime's emotion and fast-paced, stylish action. The developer promises dynamic action sequences and hazardous areas filled with dangerous trash beasts and outlaws.
