THE CRUNCH
Microsoft has announced a slate of new titles coming to Game Pass in late September and early October, including the highly anticipated Dune: Awakening, Minecraft Dungeons II, and Gears of War: E-Day. The lineup also features a variety of other games across different genres, from action RPGs to party games, all available on day one for subscribers.
The additions include Dune: Awakening, a single and multiplayer open world survival game set on the planet Arrakis, and Minecraft Dungeons II, the sequel to the popular dungeon crawler. Gears of War: E-Day, the prequel to the iconic series, is also on the list. Other notable titles include Marvel Cosmic Invasion, Planet of Lana II, and Ninja Gaiden 4, which are all set to launch on specific dates in September and October.
The update also brings a range of other games to the service, such as Kernel Hearts, a blend of action RPG and roguelike elements, and Well Dweller, a dark fairy-tale metroidvania. For those who enjoy party games, Ultimate Sheep Raccoon offers a bike-racing experience where players build the course together. The additions are spread across different dates, with some games available today and others coming in late September and early October.
The news comes as Microsoft continues to expand its Game Pass library, offering a mix of big-name titles and smaller indie games. The additions are part of a larger trend of subscription services offering day-one releases, which has become a key selling point for Game Pass. The service remains a popular choice for gamers looking for a variety of games to play without purchasing each title individually.
