Nintendo has unveiled a brand-new entry in the Kirby series titled Kirby and the World Beyond. The game is confirmed to be a launch title for the Nintendo Switch 2, with a release window of Spring 2027. The announcement was made during a dedicated Nintendo Direct presentation.

While the trailer offers a first look at the game, it does not provide details on gameplay mechanics or the story. The title follows the traditional Kirby formula, where players control the pink puffball to defeat enemies and solve puzzles.
