THE CRUNCH
HWiNFO 8.53 beta (build 6075) lists improved support for Intel's Nova Lake qualification sample silicon in its changelog. The update also fixes a System Agent VID reporting issue. This is the first time HWiNFO has named Nova Lake QS hardware directly, which suggests the platform is very close to its retail form. Intel has not yet confirmed launch dates, but previous reports point to an early 2027 release.
The changelog entry, spotted by VideoCardz, indicates HWiNFO developers are working with real telemetry rather than just adding a new identification string. This implies that at least some developers or validation partners already have Nova Lake QS hardware. Leaked roadmaps suggest 28-core desktop parts will arrive first, with a 52-core flagship arriving later in 2027.
