THE CRUNCH
Logitech has launched the G Pro X3 Superstrike gaming mouse, a slight upgrade to the haptic-based X2. The device uses haptic actuators beneath the main buttons instead of mechanical switches, aiming to reduce latency and offer a customisable click feel. It is available in a bold pink or black and costs $199.99, with the X2 remaining on sale at $179.99.
The X3 Superstrike retains the distinctive haptic technology that debuted in the X2, which uses actuators to simulate clicks rather than physical switches. This allows for a more subtle or jolty feel, or even the ability to turn the click off entirely. The new model comes in a bold pink colourway alongside a black option and is priced at $199.99. The original X2 Superstrike will continue to be sold at $179.99.
The X3 Superstrike features a slightly updated Hero 2 sensor capable of up to 48,000 DPI and 90 G acceleration. It also boasts improved battery life of 135 hours compared to the X2's 90 hours. The mouse weighs 59 g and measures 125 × 63.5 × 40 mm, with a shape similar to the X2.
