THE CRUNCH
Minisforum has launched the AtomMan G1 Pro-89A6 mini PC, a compact desktop powered by AMD's new RX 9060 XT GPU. The system is built around the Ryzen 9 8945HX mobile processor, which features 16 cores and 32 threads, and is cooled by a dual-fan setup. The mini PC includes 32 GB of DDR5-5200 RAM and a 1 TB SSD, with a starting price of $1,759 during the launch promotion.
The AtomMan G1 Pro-89A6 measures just 3.8 litres, housing a 140 W dGPU and a 350 W internal power supply. The system uses separate cooling solutions for the CPU and GPU, with five copper heat pipes connecting them. The GPU is cooled by a triple-fan setup, while the CPU uses a single-fan blower-style cooler. The PSU also has its own cooling compartment.
The mini PC offers a reasonable selection of ports, including DisplayPort 1.4a and 2.1b, HDMI 2.1, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A and Type-C, and a 5 GbE RJ45. It supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 for wireless connectivity. The system has two M.2 2230/2280 NVMe storage slots, allowing for up to 8 TB of internal SSD storage.
