THE CRUNCH
M0jso of Paralympics Productions is reportedly building a native Android port of Grand Theft Auto 5, using the same base as the popular unofficial Switch port. Unlike compatibility layers, this version is designed to run natively on Arm processors. The project reportedly targets Snapdragon 865 and newer chips, with a minimum requirement of 8 GB of RAM and 65 GB of storage. Exynos, MediaTek Helio, and Pixel Tensor are
initially excluded from support. The developer has not announced a release date, and the project remains unofficial until a public build is demonstrated.
The port reportedly relies on GTA 5 Legacy 1.0.2699 and leaked 2023 source code. This approach mirrors the development of the Switch port, which also used leaked code. The project aims to extend the game's reach beyond Windows emulation tools like Winlator.
