THE CRUNCH

Meta's Muse, an agentic AI app for iOS, has gained native iPad support in its latest update. The app launched on iPhone nearly a month ago and spent several weeks as the top free app in Apple's App Store. The iPad version is expected to work much like the iPhone app, but to make better use of the larger screen and iPadOS's stronger multitasking features.

Muse is designed to act as an agent, carrying out tasks on the user's behalf rather than just answering questions. Meta positions it against rival agentic tools including OpenClaw, ChatGPT's Dots and Grok Bot. A Mac version arrived about a week after the original mobile launch, extending the app to desktop tasks such as organising files.
