THE CRUNCH
Bandai Namco has announced a global version of Naruto Mobile, the MoreFun Studios-developed fighting game, for iOS and Android. The game first launched in China on May 19, 2016, and the worldwide release, which has yet to be dated, will arrive more than ten years after that debut.
The official description promises anime-style ninjutsu, fast-paced battles and a wide roster of shinobi from across the series as playable characters, letting players collect their favourites and stage what the studio calls dream battles.
The global version is part of "Project Rasengan", a three-year plan of new Naruto media running from 2027 to 2029. Alongside the game, the plan includes the Naruto x Ninku anime limited series, a Naruto Card Game trading card game and the Naruto: Shadow Rising manga, plus other projects yet to be announced.
