THE CRUNCH

Neon Abyss 2 will leave Early Access and launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC on October 8, publisher Kepler Ghost and developer Veewo Games announced. The cybermyth side-scrolling action game first entered Early Access on PC in July 2025.

The sequel introduces online four-player cooperative, allowing teams to explore different rooms within the same map to maximise efficiency and uncover hidden secrets. Players can also wield an inventive arsenal of weapons, from melee tools to dragon-like creatures, and stack random item drops to create wild, unstoppable synergies.

A new Faith System is also on offer, letting players spend earned faith in a shop stocked with powerful items or recruit more Hatchmon allies. The game promises a dramatic, thrill-packed experience with explosive run 'n' gun gameplay and diverse combat styles.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

Players can dive into the game on October 8, or continue playing in Early Access until then.
