The update specifically targets the path tracing upgrade in 007 First Light and prepares for the upcoming DLSS Super Resolution update in PUBG. It also includes early optimisations for three new DLSS titles: Active Matter, Aniimo, and WARDOGS. WARDOGS, an all-out warfare first-person shooter from BULKHEAD and Team 17, launches on September 10, and NVIDIA has included specific tweaks to ensure smooth performance ahead of release.

The release addresses a screen flicker issue that occurs in the browser when certain websites display content and fixes problems with virtual displays. However, the update does not resolve issues with power management mode or the crashing of Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O.
