THE CRUNCH
ASUS has set October 8 as the launch date for the ProArt P16 H7607BA laptop in China, a device powered by NVIDIA's RTX Spark N1X Arm SoC. The machine is aimed at creators and will offer two display options, including a high-brightness panel, alongside up to 128 GB of unified memory.
The ProArt P16 is positioned as a creator laptop, emphasising display quality with two panel variants. One offers a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 3840 × 2400 resolution with 700 nits sustained and 1600 nits peak brightness, while the other provides 500 nits sustained and 1100 nits peak brightness.
The laptop will be available with up to 128 GB of LPDDR5X unified memory and may ship with either the 5120-core or 6144-core NVIDIA RTX Spark N1X SoC. Connectivity includes a built-in SD card slot, dual 40 Gbps USB4/Thunderbolt 4 ports, and USB-C charging.
The launch is currently confirmed for China, with an international release not yet confirmed. ASUS describes the device as a 'world's first AI agent PC' with a local AI agent response capability.
The RTX Spark N1X is a supercomputer-grade processor designed for Windows PCs with agentic user interfaces, as previously announced by NVIDIA. This laptop launch represents the first commercial product to use the chip.
