THE CRUNCH
OpenRGB has reached version 1.0, offering a cross-platform solution for managing RGB lighting on gaming peripherals and components. The update adds support for QMK and VialRGB protocols, including Keychron forks, as well as new hardware from Gigabyte, MSI, Clevo, PNY and PowerColor. The software is available on Windows, Linux and macOS.
The utility expands its compatibility list with support for QMK and VialRGB, including Keychron's forks of those protocols. It also adds support for more Gigabyte and MSI motherboards and laptops, Clevo laptop keyboards and light bars, and various GPUs using controllers like the PNY Epic-X ARGB and PowerColor GPUs. The release lays the groundwork for more Logitech device support.
