PC GPU shipments increased by 10.4% quarter-over-quarter to 75.5 million units in the latest period, according to Jon Peddie Research. The growth was driven by notebook graphics cards, which jumped 16.8%, while dedicated desktop GPU shipments fell 4%. Intel remains the market leader with 56% share, though its lead narrowed slightly.

Shipments of PC graphics cards climbed 10.4% from the previous quarter to 75.5 million units, according to Jon Peddie Research. The increase comes despite record-high prices for graphics hardware. The growth was driven by notebook graphics cards, which jumped 16.8% quarter-over-quarter. In contrast, dedicated desktop GPUs saw a 4% reduction in shipments.

Intel continues to dominate the market with 56% of all PC GPU shipments, though its lead narrowed by 1% quarter-over-quarter. NVIDIA and AMD saw smaller quarterly increases of 0.46% and 0.6% respectively. The figures cover all PC GPUs, including those integrated into processors, which Intel sells in large volumes through its laptop and SoC offerings.
