THE CRUNCH

Peloton has refreshed its treadmill lineup with the new Tread Flex, a more affordable machine that folds upright to save floor space. The device, priced at $2,195, is designed to address user feedback for a more easily stowed machine. When folded, the Flex reportedly has a smaller overall footprint than the Bike Plus. The treadmill also features caster wheels for easier movement.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

Peloton will likely focus on marketing the Tread Flex to users who previously found its hardware too bulky or expensive.
