ASUS has introduced the Ascent QN10, an ultracompact mini PC powered by the Snapdragon X2 Elite platform and an 80 TOPS NPU. The device is designed to meet Copilot+ PC requirements and features an 18-core Oryon CPU, integrated Adreno graphics, and enterprise-grade security features like fTPM 2.0 and Microsoft Pluton. It targets creators and enterprises seeking AI desktop-class performance in a chassis smaller than 0.
The Ascent QN10 is positioned as the world's first AI mini PC, boasting an 80 TOPS NPU for on-device AI acceleration. It integrates Qualcomm's Hexagon NPU to support real-time language translation, content generation, and workflow automation. The device supports hybrid Agentic AI workflows, allowing users to route workloads between local NPU processing and cloud LLM APIs for optimised performance and privacy.
Developers can leverage the Qualcomm AI Hub, which offers 175+ pre-optimised models and supports Bring Your Own Model (BYOM) and Bring Your Own Data (BYOD) workflows. The mini PC also supports AI agent frameworks such as OpenClaw and Hermes, enabling automation through platforms like WhatsApp and LINE. It includes WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0 for high-speed connectivity.
ASUS claims the Ascent QN10 delivers AI desktop-class performance in a chassis that is 86% smaller than conventional 5-liter desktop systems. The integrated Adreno GPU provides 2.3X faster performance than its previous generation. The device is built for edge AI environments and offers sustained performance with cool and quiet operation.
The Ascent QN10 features a multi-layered security architecture to protect devices, data, and AI workloads. It includes fTPM 2.0 for hardware-rooted credential protection and Microsoft Pluton for enhanced identity and key protection. These features help organisations safeguard sensitive information while enabling secure deployment of intelligent applications.
