THE CRUNCH

Sony has entered the high-refresh-rate monitor race with the INZONE M10S II, a 27-inch QHD OLED display that natively supports 540 Hz refresh rates and 720 Hz in HD mode. The panel covers nearly 110 per cent of the DCI-P3 colour gamut and uses a matte finish to reduce glare, a rarity for OLED screens. The monitor includes DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI 2.1 inputs, HDR support, and Sony’s INZONE Hub software for control. It

is priced at $1,100 and weighs 6.2kg, with a small metal base that proves stable despite its compact footprint. The device lacks internal speakers but offers USB ports and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The review notes that the matte coating is effective at rejecting ambient light and that the display is well-suited for competitive gaming with features like static and dynamic aiming points. The monitor is positioned as a competitor to other high-end displays like the Asus ROG Swift, offering similar performance and image quality at a comparable price point.
