Sony says it is fixing an issue that removed some PC titles from the Steam store in the UK. Helldivers 2 and Horizon Forbidden West were briefly unavailable for purchase but remain playable for owners. The company is working with Valve to restore the titles.
Helldivers 2 and other Sony-published titles briefly vanished from the Steam store in the UK, making them unavailable for new buyers. Players who already owned the games could still launch them, and the titles remain on PlayStation platforms. Sony said it is working with Valve to resolve the issue.
Helldivers 2 has been a major commercial success, becoming PlayStation's fastest-selling launch ever with 12 million copies sold in its first 12 weeks. The game is also available on Xbox Series X and S. This incident follows a period of scrutiny over Sony's stance on digital game ownership.
