THE CRUNCH

Clear River Games has announced that the SNES action RPG Terranigma will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, Switch and PC via Steam on January 14, 2027. The publisher detailed a range of physical editions, including a standard release and a lavish Gaia Edition that comes with a Yomi figurine, a Pandora's Box replica and an art book.

The game arrives with several quality-of-life additions, such as a mini-map, a rewind function and a new Arranged Mode that tweaks magic damage and allows saving anywhere. The release also includes a CRT filter and multiple aspect ratios to replicate the original look.

A limited Gaia Edition is available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and Switch 2, priced at $199.99. The premium bundle includes a physical copy, a Yomi vinyl statue, a Pandora's Box music box, an art book, an enamel pin, a soundtrack CD and a cloth world map.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

The game is expected to be available for pre-order soon, with physical editions shipping in early 2027.
