THE CRUNCH
Ubisoft has delayed the Rayman Legends remake, Rayman Legends Retold, by two months. The new release date is 3rd December, moving back from 1st October. The publisher says the change was made to ensure every detail receives the care it deserves.
The delay affects the remake of the 2012 platformer, which was originally set for an October launch. Ubisoft has not provided a specific reason beyond the general statement about care and detail.
This move comes as Ubisoft continues to refine its PC strategy. The company recently announced it will stop requiring its own Connect launcher to start games on Steam, aiming to reduce friction for players.
Separately, Ubisoft titles have been added to Xbox's disc-to-digital service, allowing players to trade physical discs for digital versions. The PC compatibility of this service remains limited.
