THE CRUNCH

Virtue and a Sledgehammer, a narrative action adventure about exploring a haunted hometown with a sledgehammer, launches for PC via Steam on October 27. A demo is available now.

You can tear down the remnants of your childhood in Virtue and a Sledgehammer, which launches for PC on October 27. Publisher Devolver Digital and developers Deconstructeam and Selkie Harbour announced the release on Steam, where a demo is already available. The game tasks you with exploring a hometown haunted by android ghosts of your digitised neighbours, letting you create your own path by knocking down any structures that stand in your way.

The game is described as a narrative experience at its heart, where violent catharsis is weighed against the painful memories you unearth. You wield a sledgehammer against mechanical human facsimiles and the buildings they call home, uncovering your family's knotty web of virtues and flaws along the way.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
