THE CRUNCH
AMD could raise the prices of the Radeon GPU and GDDR6 memory bundles it supplies to graphics card makers again in November, according to a report from industry insiders relayed through the Chinese platform ChannelGate. The exact size of the increase has not been decided. The company has reportedly been lifting these bundle prices since December 2025, with hikes continuing through 2026 as memory shortages worsened.
The reported trigger is memory: a ChannelGate source says GDDR6 prices grew by 8% to 10% in Q3 2026, and that AMD has decided to raise its bundle prices in November, following a previous hike in October. As with any supplier, those costs flow through to board partners and ultimately to shoppers, so Radeon cards are set to get pricier.
Shoppers are already feeling it. Hardware Unboxed's latest survey, averaged across ten countries, recorded graphics card prices up 11% month on month, adding to rises of 15% in August and 7% in September. The RX 9060 XT 16GB was the hardest-hit Radeon card, jumping 17%, and many models were out of stock in the UK and elsewhere.
This is not just an AMD problem. Intel's Arc B and Nvidia's GeForce RTX 50 series face the same inflated prices and thin availability, and there are reports that Nvidia is stopping supply of RTX 5090 GPU and GDDR7 bundles.
