THE CRUNCH
A GitHub programmer has built NvidiaWatch, a tracker site that logs progress on 462 different Nvidia GPU driver bugs. The tool compiles each driver update's release notes alongside feedback threads on Nvidia's forums, and was first shared in late September before an update appeared on the r/Nvidia subreddit earlier this week.
Each bug gets its own page, so anyone affected can quickly check whether the latest driver update has already addressed their problem. Every driver release also has a dedicated page listing the release notes, fixed bugs and open issues Nvidia has yet to resolve, plus a chart showing how many known issues were fixed in that release, fixed later, remained open or carried over from an earlier driver.
The site is handy for anyone troubleshooting Nvidia hardware, and worth a look before updating a GPU driver: the source notes it could help you avoid nasty surprises such as the fan control bug that shipped with the GeForce 595.59 driver.
