THE CRUNCH
Forge of the Fae, a story-rich pixel JRPG from developer Datadyne and publisher Deck13 Spotlight, will launch in March 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC via Steam.
The game follows Fiora and her friends as they investigate a series of mysterious disappearances in a world inspired by 19th-century Ireland, with player decisions shaping how the story unfolds. Combat is turn-based and built around two systems: the ARC Crystal system, which offers customisable spells and abilities, and an Adrenaline system the developers say adds depth to battles.
Beyond combat, the game promises environmental puzzles, secrets and optional discoveries that reward exploration with powerful items and hidden lore.
