THE CRUNCH
Alphacool has launched its ES series of 1-slot water coolers for professional graphics cards, covering the NVIDIA RTX PRO 4000, 4500 and 6000 Blackwell models and the AMD Radeon AI PRO R9700. The coolers occupy only the PCIe slot the card itself uses, which Alphacool positions as a selling point for dense workstations, AI, rendering and simulation builds where free expansion slots are scarce.
Each cooler is built around a chrome-plated copper full-cover block with what the company calls Jet Engine cooling technology, plus a brass, chrome-plated terminal with two G1/4-inch ports for hooking into a liquid-cooling loop. A carbon-fibre front plate and an aluminium backplate round off the construction.
Availability is staggered: the RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell and AI PRO R9700 versions are out now at €324.98 each, while the RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell and RTX 6000 Pro Workstation Edition variants are up for pre-order at €399.98. Alphacool offers a GPU configurator at gpu.alphacool.com for checking card compatibility.
