THE CRUNCH

Dell has announced an expanded Windows PC and workstation line-up built around agentic AI, developed with NVIDIA and Microsoft. The headline product is the XPS 16 Creator Edition, the first XPS laptop to carry NVIDIA's RTX Spark superchip, alongside a Dell Creator Edition Desktop and a Dell Pro Precision workstation with GB300 aimed at enterprise AI teams.

The RTX Spark superchip combines up to a 6,144-core Blackwell RTX GPU, up to a 20-core Grace CPU and up to 128 GB of unified memory in one machine. Because the CPU and GPU share a single memory pool, Dell says the laptop can handle large 3D scenes, multi-layer 8K timelines and AI models that would strain a traditional discrete-GPU laptop, and developers can prototype, fine-tune and run inference locally using the full CUDA stack without cloud dependency.

The 17.8 mm-thin aluminium chassis carries a 3.2K tandem OLED display with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600, peak brightness up to 1,000 nits, 100% DCI-P3 coverage, factory calibration to Delta E below 2 with Pantone Validation, and a 20 to 120 Hz variable refresh rate. Connectivity includes a full-size SDXC v7.1 card reader, three USB4 Type-C ports with DisplayPort 2.1 and Power Delivery, and HDMI 2.1b supporting up to three external displays.

The specifications come from Dell's own announcement, so performance claims remain unverified until independent reviews put the machines through their paces.
