THE CRUNCH

Shipt has introduced an AI shopping assistant that lets users ask the system to build a grocery cart for specific events or needs. The assistant can create a list for a Saturday tailgate for 25 people, including brunch items, or prepare a cart for easy school lunches and after-school snacks.

The assistant works by interpreting natural language requests from users. Shipt says the tool can handle complex instructions, such as creating a cart for a large group or a specific meal type. This feature aims to reduce the time users spend planning and selecting items for their shopping trips.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

The assistant will be available to Shipt users, allowing them to generate shopping lists through natural language requests.
