THE CRUNCH
Sifu, Sloclap's 2022 martial arts action game, is now available on Android and iOS. The French studio released the mobile version today, priced $8 or £6, and says it was built specifically for phone screens rather than simply ported.
The touch controls translate the game's core moves into on-screen prompts, with environmental interactions streamlined, and a new adaptive camera designed to work better on smaller displays. Sloclap says it worked to keep Sifu's painterly look and fluid, impactful combat intact, though controller support is there if tapping is not for you. Judging by the trailer, it still looks like Sifu, just a little softer on less powerful hardware.
The game arrives with a strong reputation behind it: Sifu was critically acclaimed and sold 1 million copies in its first three weeks. It launched as a PlayStation and Epic Games Store exclusive, reaching Steam and Xbox a year later, so mobile is its latest stop rather than its first expansion.
