THE CRUNCH
Team17 and French developer Saltitude have announced Little Prince Tyger, a dark fantasy roguelike action game coming to PC via Steam in 2027. Players take on the role of a tiny hunter armed with a bow and arrow, sent by the Queen to find her lost son, Prince Galaad, across more than 1,000 hand-crafted, single-screen levels.
The game takes its name from William Blake's poem The Tyger and pairs a low-resolution pixel look with physics-driven combat and fluid simulation. Its roguelike loop layers in perks that alter each run, from stat tweaks such as bleed damage and arrow draw speed to manipulating fluids, slowing time and unlocking extra weapons like javelins, boomerangs and throwing knives. Between runs, players meet characters including Sauterelle, a kamanaï warrior, and Machiavelli, a kitchen garden keeper with a secret past.
