THE CRUNCH
Microsoft has announced its mid October Game Pass line-up, headlined by Battlefield 6 arriving on October 13 for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers across cloud, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Several titles land on day one, including the Ghostrunner studio's first-person Soulslike Valor Mortis and the road trip adventure Forever Ago on October 13 and October 8 respectively.
The wave begins on October 8 with Echo Weaver, a time loop metroidvania, and Forever Ago, followed by Neon Abyss 2, a pixelated cyberpunk roguelike action platformer. October 13 also brings Deep Dish Dungeon, a hand-crafted survival exploration game with crafting and Metroidvania elements, alongside Valor Mortis, in which players rise from death as a former soldier of Napoleon's army.
October 15 adds Bluey's Happy Snaps, a photo-powered adventure playable solo or with a second player, and Chained Beasts, a one-to-four-player cooperative gladiator roguelike. Beyond These Stars, a city builder set on the back of a Space Whale, arrives on PC on October 16. Separately, Shape of Dreams and Minecraft Dungeons II are already available under the In Case You Missed It banner.
Battlefield 6 subscribers also get EA Play benefits, including the EA Play Deployment Pack, the Season 5 EA Play Pack and recurring seasonal rewards, with Game Pass Ultimate including EA Play plus 10% off eligible EA digital purchases. Meanwhile, A Plague Tale: Requiem and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 are among the titles leaving the service soon.
