THE CRUNCH

Wales Interactive and Stormind Games have announced Sker: The Bleeding Veil, a first-person survival horror rooted in Welsh folklore, due on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC via Steam in spring 2027. Set in 1924, it follows Gareth Morgan as he returns to the orphanage of his childhood to find his younger sister Elin, only to find the matron Sister Gwenllian has drawn her former charges around a belief tied to the Siren's Song.

Gameplay leans on sound as both tool and threat: players explore and solve harmonic puzzles while evading blind stalkers that hunt by hearing, all under a stealth-focused structure. Sister Gwenllian and her ritual-bound orphans serve as the central menace.

The new game extends a series rather than starting one. Wales Interactive previously made Maid of Sker and Sker Ritual, and the setting picks up after the events at Sker Hotel, while Stormind Games brings experience from the Remothered Trilogy of horror titles.
